Pershore in Bloom was formed 6 years ago to enhance and promote Pershore for residents and visitors and also to encourage community pride and participation. This we hope, is achieved by encouraging local authorities, organizations, traders and schools to participate in community projects, in addition to providing floral displays.
The Heart of England presents awards annually and last year, with everyones assistance we were awarded gold. We are again entering the campaign this year and obviously, hope to have a similar award and it is a source of pride to see the interest that has been generated.
The Best Front Garden competition will again be taking place with judging sometime in August – date to be announced. Application forms are available in Pershore Town Hall and if you are too shy to enter yourself, please enter a neighbour.
